| 17.06.2004 Heike (Germany) Hi,
just a short note:
I stayed in the hotel beginning of June 2004. Everything was really great. Especially the very nice people at the hotel reception who take care for everything and made the accommodation very comfortable.
Breakfast was fine and good, the room was clean and friendly.
And by the way, the hotel is very close to the centre. | | |
| 01.11.2003 The Daniels (Norwich) We stayed in the Lisboa for 4 nights in September 2003. We got exactly what we ordered, quiet room with view of street upper floors. We ended up on the top floor with an outside balcony with wonderful views. Would recommend this to anybody.
Good buffet breakfast and extremely helpful receptionists.
Taxis cheap and the best means of getting around the city.

| 06.10.2003 Susan Hedstrom (Bath England) Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and welcoming. Near to cafes and public transport. Hotel with very good atmoshere. Would visit again. | | |
| 20.07.2003 roger (UK) The staff were pleasant enough and there's free parking which is good. However, the hotel doesn't have any non-smoking rooms and the corridors and rooms smelt of cigarette smoke which we found a bit unpleasant. The bar closes at 10.30pm which is far too early. The breakfast buffet looks good but the eggs were usually cold and the boiled eggs were hard. The hotel doesn't lend out irons and board, but will charge you 5 Euros to press a shirt. Overall, not bad but for a 4 star I expected more. I think this is indicative of Lisbon hotels however. | | |
| 08.07.2003 Mike vK (London) This Hotel provided us with a pleasant albeit basic tourist-class stay. We had two different rooms, a twin with a grotty internal view over a series of fire escapes, and (changed to) a double with a outside view (standard cityscape). The rooms were quiet & clean, as were the bathrooms; the reception/bar staff were very helpful and pleasant. Strangely they were unable to provide us with an iron/ironing board. Breakfast is generic cereals/eggs/rolls. The Hotel location is good for local transport. If you want a reasonably cheap, unsophisticated and central stopover for Lisbon then this is a fine choice. | | |
| 29.06.2003 Osmo Tapio RÄihÄlÄ (Helsinki, Finland) Hotel Lisboa is a nice and clean hotel and gives a relatively good value for its price. The squad is very friendly and helpful. Special mention goes to the cleaning ladies who do a very good job! The location is good for tourists: the hotel is within a walking distance from both Baixa/Chiado and places such as Bairro Alto or the Gulbenkian Museum. The Avenida tube station is only a stonethrow away, too. | | |
| 19.05.2003 Paola (Switzerland) Very nice hotel very well located in the center of Lisbon. Excellent price/quality. | | |
| 07.05.2003 Steve (Winchester, UK) Very good hotel. Convenient walking distance from town centre or always easy to get taxis. Room was better than I expected. Good friendly service. | | |
